Haggly ("we," "our," or "us") operates the website haggly.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service. We are committed to keeping your experience private and transparent.
Haggly is free to use without an account. You do not need to sign in or pay to use its communication features.
Preset phrase translations are processed in your browser from static translation data. If you use custom translation or generated negotiation translation features, the text you enter may be sent directly from your browser to third-party translation services to return translated output.
If you use the homepage feedback form, your message and optional reply email are processed by Cloudflare and sent through Resend to the Haggly team. We use this information to review your feedback and reply if you provide an email address. The form does not subscribe you to a mailing list. Message contents and email addresses are not added to our analytics events or application logs. Cloudflare uses technical request information to limit repeated submissions.
The Contact page and homepage use the same feedback service. Messages remain subject to Resend's and the receiving email provider's retention practices.
Like most websites, our hosting provider and infrastructure providers may automatically collect certain technical information when you visit haggly.io, including:
This information is used for analytics and to ensure the website functions properly. It is not used to identify individual users.
With your permission, Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page visits, referring websites, device categories and page performance. Haggly also records fixed categories of button actions, selected languages and approximate country in Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine. We do not include phrase text, feedback messages, email addresses, IP addresses or visitor identifiers in these custom analytics records. These are usage totals, not a history of identified people. IP-based country estimates can be inaccurate.
Custom event records are retained by Analytics Engine for three months. Cloudflare Web Analytics reports cover up to six months. Preview testing uses separate datasets from the live site. Technical infrastructure logs are separate from these analytics records.
You can allow or decline analytics using Privacy choices. We also honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. Declining leaves communication features available. Haggly does not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or advertising scripts.
Your browser stores preferences such as language, your analytics choice and recent phrases locally. Our custom analytics does not create visitor identifiers or tracking cookies. You can clear local data through your browser settings.
If you choose to support Haggly, Stripe processes your one-time contribution on its hosted payment page. Payment details and any contact information you provide there are processed by Stripe under its privacy policy. We may receive payment confirmation and information needed to respond to support or payment questions.
We do not store your full payment card number on Haggly servers. Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe.
Haggly is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that uses service workers to enable offline functionality. When you visit haggly.io, your browser may cache website files locally on your device so the app works without an internet connection. This cached data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.
Our website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any linked websites you visit.
Haggly is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.
We take reasonable measures to protect information associated with our website. The site is served over HTTPS, and optional payments are processed by Stripe. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
